I'm Laura Otto, a people and talent leader with over 15 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations build equitable, resilient, and top-performing teams. My competencies include talent acquisition and management, total rewards, and the development of scalable HR systems that align people strategy with organizational purpose.
Growing up near the Palm Springs windmills, with public school teachers as my parents, formed my commitment to public service, education, and stewardship. I have partnered with organizations in climate tech, clean energy, healthcare, and workforce services, focusing on building people systems that support both performance and humanity. These systems intend to scale while remaining authentically human.

I've supported organizations including the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC), WRISE (Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy), OneEnergy Renewables, Optimum Energy, the American Solar Energy Society, Comagine Health (formerly Qualis Health), and VitalSource Staffing. I hold an MBA and a BA in Economics from Willamette University and am SHRM-CP certified.
