Laura Otto is a people and talent leader with over 15 years of experience partnering with mission-driven organizations to build equitable, resilient, and high-performing teams. Her expertise spans talent acquisition and management, total rewards, and the design and implementation of scalable HR systems that align people strategy with organizational mission.

Laura Otto was raised by public school teachers near the Palm Springs windmills—an environment that quietly but profoundly shaped her worldview and career path. From an early age, she learned the value of public service, education, and stewardship. Watching clean energy power a community while her parents dedicated their lives to developing people instilled a lasting belief that meaningful progress happens when values, innovation, and people come together.Laura has partnered with organizations across climate tech, clean energy, healthcare, and workforce services. In each setting, she has focused on building people systems that support both performance and humanity—systems designed to scale while remaining deeply human.

Laura has worked with and supported organizations including the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC), WRISE (Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy), OneEnergy Renewables, Optimum Energy, the American Solar Energy Society, Comagine Health (formerly Qualis Health), and VitalSource Staffing. She holds an MBA and a BA in Economics from Willamette University and is SHRM-CP certified.
